Hello QF009 Membership number: xx_xx_X
An invitation to join a new Qantas feedback panel

Qantas is building a feedback panel, made up of a select group of customers, to help us continually improve our customer service. We would like to invite you to join the feedback panel.

A different method for you to tell us what you think

Approximately every second time you fly we will send you a link to a short survey (three questions) that will ask for feedback for the specific journey that you have just completed.

Linking your responses to a specific flight will allow your feedback to be delivered directly and quickly back to our frontline managers and the employees who served you, both in the air and on the ground, during your journey.

Each post journey survey should take less than 2 minutes to complete and you will be able to opt-out of the panel at any time. The survey is designed to be easily accessible on laptops and desktops as well as most internet enabled mobile devices, such as iPhone® and BlackBerry® smartphones.

We will also keep you updated with a quarterly newsletter that will only be distributed to panel members.

Joining the Panel

To join the panel, please click on the link below. We are excited to be implementing a system that will help us listen to you, learn about your needs and then act to improve your experience when flying Qantas.

We look forward to hearing from you and appreciate your involvement.

Yours sincerely,

Anyone else got the same?

Anyone else got the same?

Is this for QF Advisory Panel or something else?

The Advisory Panel is largely useless. You can submit your feedback on Domestic flights and nothing else (apparently International is 'Coming Soon').

There's also not been a newsletter since January this year :0

I received same email in my inbox - I have five return domestic flights booked from now until April 2011...

QF009 didn't answer me ;) but is it the Advisory Panel invite or something else?

Re-reading the email, I don't think it's for the Advisory Panel. It makes no specific mention of domestic flights, and describes this as a 'new' feedback panel.

Interesting. Perhaps they've abandoned the advisory panel (wouldn't surprise me).

Just says "Feedback Panel" :) Looks like it's for QF in general rather than for dom or int travel in particular.

Probably just a "happy sheet" type survey, eg "Using a rating from 1-10, please rate your happiness when an engine experienced an uncontained failure during your last flight"

I just got the same - when I completed the initial registration/survey it said "You will initially be surveyed about flights departing Sydney and Perth, and other locations will be added in 2011.

Yep, I got this too. The short survey you take when you sign up indicates that they are interested in both Domestic and International.

I was surprised to receive this invitation to join the new Qantas feedback panel.

I presume it is because I have quite a few domestic flights with Qantas booked over the next six months - both Y and J.

No email for me.

Maybe it has something to do with bookings in the system .... I have very little forward booked - an international trip Dec/Jan, but nothing after that.

I'll still be flying 4 flights every second week next year, but I only book about a month in advance - things change too often.

Then again, maybe it's random :)

Got the same email, not long after booking my first domestic flight for work since September.

Don't remember a survey though?

I just love how we all come up with theories on why we received or did not receive the offer.

My theory is that it is a totally random process....

I also got it but I became a Silver member on Saturday so I thought it was due to that.

But gee, there were not a lot of questions. I don't think you can get a lot of feedback from what was asked.

I got one too, thought it might be because I did Syd-per return yesterday.. One he'll of a day trip..

Don't have any other bookings in the system.
