Hong Kong weather in early June is typically atrocious. Rain rain rain and maximum mugginess. I am wondering whether it might be viable to alternate annual Lounge Crawls a bit, perhaps with NRT and ICN.

NRT has nice lounges. With sushi! Never been disappointed with a lounge there. It has the best of all worlds.

Finally, home. MEL immigration is a zoo if and only if your passport can't be read at the Smart Gates. Double the usual Uber fare home but still better than taking a taxi in Melbourne. Now for some hard grind until my next trip.

I just tried to do my own *A lounge crawl. The SQ lounge was the only one open and it was distinctly disappointing. (The Marhaba Lounge at MEL had better food!!!) The TG and UA lounges remain temporarily closed, 4 and a half years into the pandemic. It was nice to see you all though.

Just touched down in HKG after quite a pleasant Y flight and surprisingly nice afternoon tea en route. Still have plenty of room for a dinner entree. So I will check in and make my way to the Sheraton Grill. Hope to see you there soon but do start without me.

My cousin used to be a stewardess for MF until she become a mother at the age of 40. I have never flown on it though so I can't comment on their quality or lack thereof.
