Anyone redeeming CBA points for Accor points at 5:1? It's a bit steep, given you can get VA points at 2:1, but the thought has crossed my mind...

Sorry if this has been asked and answered already. If a stay is paid for with ALL points (40 euro vouchers) does it count towards earning elite status? Does it earn points on any cash co-pay for the stay?

Just cancelled citi prestige. They offered to reduce annual fee to 650 (from 700) but not really worth it IMO. I'll be eligible to signup again with bonus in 12 months anyway (bonus points are realistically worth more than keeping the card). So long (for now) and thanks for the memories Citi!

Don't think so @Paultiffen, but not 100% sure. Stay 4 pay 3 is booked via hotels.com through the Citi travel desk, so doubt it can be combined. Would be a nice surprise.

@Moindart Yeah, if you can put a lot through it easily, it's still the best earning visa/mc in the market. However I'm finding I can Amex a lot of my spend these days, and the lack of ATO earning on this card has become an issue for me. If you're lucky citi will run another double Hilton points...
