More limited than normal??

I cancelled three CR bookings last week and got emails that refunds were processed on Monday and Tuesday this week. I've received the $$ back on my card, but no sign of the points refunds. I'm going to have to call Qantas, aren't I? Has anyone had luck messaging them on social media instead?

Maybe you can only combine fare types when it’s a return booking? I noticed a banner / message on the QF site a few days ago that clearly said Classic Plus can’t be booked for multi city.

There can be OK value here when fares on sale. I'm looking at booking PER-YVR, which is 358k points + $1341 return in J for CR+ That's only 70k points more than CR (plus a few hundred $$ more in taxes and fees I suspect). Not bad really.

Maybe SQ will buy it and they’ll join Star Alliance!

We may have to wait a while to find out. Qantas’ next earnings announcement isn’t until late August.

The chatter in various Facebook groups about this is *very* negative. The Qantas share price change since Friday is *very* positive.

True, so the one of their obvious goals could be: work with partners to make long haul reward seats more available.

I think Virgin has obvious questions to answer to potential investors about how it plans to grow its loyalty division and compete with Qantas FF. These questions are probably being asked in private right now.
