Agee individual dr practice is probably less technically secure, but on a population basis (eg Medibank size) less likely that your personal info will be misused imo.

Yet another reason not to get involved with Hotdocs; if you've never used them then you can't be fooled. The other being that hotdocs wants to keep so much personal information about you, and your parents, and your siblings, that they are an obvious target commercial company to be hacked.

I thought that there was a min of 3 years but can't find it now, maybe it's in the application for a pension. Min to be able to top-up I think is >2years, not 3 complete years.

I gather that you might be able catch-up to have >10 NI years and still not be eligible for a uk pension when reaching 66+ if you don't meet other requirements, like I think there's minimum number of years having resided in uk?
