    Cancel For Any Reason (CFAR)

For some reason I read that as... I'm no undertaker, perhaps I was expecting the worst. Good to have that contact ph number now. The business case I presume would include an arrangement/contribution from VA who may be able to resell the seat, and likely the same regardless of the 80% or 100%...

That gov super pension is not the money for nothing scheme that many people think. Bear in mind in this scheme: - on pension payout it's taxable income to the recipient (unlike pension phase super coming from the 12%sgl), so not only pay tax but affects eligibility for other benefits which the...

Agree it's not equitable to be able to delay selling say an investment property held for 20 years, and pay no cgt at 60. There are already proportional tax adjustments in the tax system for changing circumstances, eg moving into an investment home, or estate cgt calculations. So simply if you...

So Qantas can, if they wish, consent to emails (only) being "used" to inform blah blah. Qantas could even be proactive (🤣) in allowing reputable sites and thereby assisting their affected customers.

ANZ announcement today...ceasing the share buyback and having a DRP which will not be neutralised. So having already "spent" almost $1.2B in a buyback, a 180degree turnaround by issuing extra shares instead of reducing. Also stated a 1.5% discount on the DRP, don't know if that is new. Shares up...

I've lapsed, but thinking maybe should rejoin, qfa business offer seems ok. Does someone know whether when transferring funds from one fund to another (both accumulation), whether tax free/taxed super balance proportions are transferred; logically it should but one can't rely on that. Eg. you have 2 super funds with $100 in each, A is 50% tax free/taxable, B is 90% tax...

Hrdlicka might have a plan (when she finally starts work next year) which the market might buy, and possibly might work. A cynic might say doing nothing to support the share price now, "helps" (📉) the base starting price in CEO meeting share price KPIs.

    Birds of a feather

Me too and nice article you linked. They're big birds that to me look as if they can't fly properly, can't land property, don't have any bad affects on anything. Shy but laid-back. I hear them much more often than I actually see them.
