I don't believe this limitation exists? If you're talking about the Qatar "Premium Lounges" in Singapore etc., OW Award pax are allowed in (at least in my experience). I know the rules make some reference to "revenue" pax, but I don't think that's enforced and/or they just mean to decline...

It's more competitive likely because people will naturally check their seat selection whilst checking in, and people will check in once they get a text/notification from Qantas that their flight is open for check-in (which will happen at T-24)

It depends how you look at card surcharges I suppose. I find most places will not charge a higher surcharge for premium cards, so as someone who wouldn't pay cash regardless, I'm going to be paying the surcharge regardless of if I use a Qantas Point earning CC or a zero annual fee. Admittedly...

I think I've only ever been on one Qantas domestic flight with non-functional WiFi. It wasn't working for anyone on the flight but the CSM refused to reset the wifi hardware for some reason.

It seems that all of my upcoming bookings have the Change button disabled. Mix of reward and cash bookings, all made directly through Qantas. All are simple returns, no multi-city which usually throws off the system. Anyone else have this issue?
