Extend status with points transfer?

I have Krisflyer Elite Gold which was obtained through status match but due to expire in a week. Will transferring points from Velocity to KF fulfil the Elite miles criteria for requalification to extend the status? Thanks.

no. no status (elite miles) with miles transfer

they did offer this during covid, havent seen it before or since

Ok thank you, once it lapses and I return to the lowest tier, do you know whether I will have access to the same KFF award seat availability?

I'm close to having enough Velocity points to book 3 return business seats to the UK, but I've been finding on the flights I'm considering, only 1 seat is available through Velocity so I will need to transfer points to KFF and book direct where it shows availability for 3. However if I won't be able to continue to book those once I lose the KFF status I may have to just book one-way now then organise the other leg in another few weeks once I'm due more bonus points from a couple of credit card offers.
