Flying Virgin Australia to Bali from Melbourne - Lounge Access?

Flying from Melbourne to Bali and I've got Virgin lounge access but not sure if we can use it if we're flying internationally? Does anyone know which terminal the Virgin Bali flights go from?

International Terminal.

Bain Capital don’t believe Virgin Australia customers deserve any International Lounge access, so you’re at the mercy of the airport’s paid offerings or access via other means (credit card benefit, PP etc).

I believe you can use the domestic lounge. It’s about a three minute walk, plus security, from the international terminal (enter via T4 security).

I’d probably leave around and hour before departure… giving you 39 mins to clear international security and passport control, and board.

The easiest thing would be to pay one of the many operators to use their facilities! But there don’t seem to be any plans to build their own lounge, or even arrange alternative access.

Not for the foreseeable future as a Hybrid Low Cost Value Carrier.

VA J International Passengers on their partners may get lounge access though.

I flew VA J from MEL to ZQN a couple of weeks ago and used my PP to enter the Marhaba lounge, which was perfectly fine for breakfast and a glass or two of Oz bubbly. Could have gone to the Amex lounge for free with my lounge credits, but in general I don't like Amex lounges, and certainly not the one at MEL in the dungeon.

I would never have paid for a VA business class seat to ZQN, given their lack of business class amenities (at a similar price to QF - who are they kidding?), but as a UA award while disposing pre-devaluation of all my remaining Mileage Plus miles it was fine. Needless to say business class wasn't full, but there was a healthy load in Y.
