Hi everyone,

Just out of interest, can someone explain to me why certain Jetstar flights have codeshare QF flight nos on them, given that Jetsaver QFF's cannot earn FF points and status credits on this class of fare, and JetFlex QFF earn these even if their ticket shows a JQ flight no?

Regards

For those redeeming QFF points to take a flight....

I think there may be other reasons...

From one of the QF pages:
http://www.qantas.com.au/fflyer/dyn/program/privileges#jump1
"Status credits can be earned on flights operated by Jetstar Airways where a Qantas flight number is entered on your ticket when booked in Y, B, H, or K class, or on a Jetflex fare."

Makes me think that they could be offered as part of an international airfare or something similar.
