QF lounge access at Tokyo Narita

Just got back from Japan traveling QF. Was travelling with a friend who is QF Plat. We had no trouble at all accessing the JAL 1st lounge at NRT prior to our flight back on Sunday evening. The lounge is large and was quite busy. Food was very good - Japanese and "European" options. Decent range of drinks. Nice champagne. Downsides: no views, and the layout is almost like a high-class cafeteria. Tiled floors adds to this impression and noise. It was not really a luxury experience nor as quiet and relaxing as one might expect for a 1st class lounge.

Thanks for sharing, did you happen to use the showers @ JAL 1st lounge in NRT? Any good? Any more loung me tips?

The showers at NRT are shared with the Sakura (J) lounge so they are never immediately available, but F lounge pax jump the queue ahead of J and there's usually been one available within 15-20 minutes in my experience.

You join the queue on your phone and receive an SMS/email when a shower is ready, then head down to the floor below (there's a lift inside the lounge that takes you down to the showers)

As you'd expect from J showers, the cubicles are small but functional enough:

The NRT F lounge is mostly dining focussed with a la carte dishes and sushi ordered via QR code and delivered to your table. There isn't as much relaxation/lounging space as there is at HND.

The NRT F Satellite lounge used to be the spot to go for relaxing but I believe that was shuttered during covid and hasn't reopened.

There is apparently a shoe polish service hidden down on the 3rd floor (near the showers) but I haven't used it personally. The shoe polish service marked on the 4th floor was closed when I passed through in January.
