Redeeming Flight Awards to Europe via Asia

I'm interested in knowing if it's possible to redeem a MP award ticket for travel on SQ with a stopover in Rome and then continue onto London via LH. The return flight from LHR would be on SQ via SIN onto SYD with no stopover.

Short answer is yes, but they will calculate the points for the sectors, so it may require more than you anticipate.

I did a similar routing earlier this year. There is no additional mileage penalty.

My routing (Bus class for 120,000 miles) was SYD-SIN-FRA-LIS-MUC(stopover) - FRA-SIN-SYD.

It's a pretty good deal, actually.
