View of my office in the late 1990s – Chifley Tower, Sydney. My original Sydney office, Goldfields House, has gone. I had a 3rd-from-top-floor office, overlooking Circular Quay.



And my lunchtime office back then. Hard to believe, but I used to go for a run and up and down these steps two or three times. The horror! (Smoke haze, sorry)



Two observations from someone who is only an occasional visitor Sydney these days. The change in the skyline; big office buildings still being constructed - amazing (Metro has contributed to this I know).

And the footpaths are filthy. I remember them from being laid for the Olympics but you think that give them occasional clean. Now there’s all sorts of human waste over it, spills, grot . Yuk.
