I've got a couple of questions about VA status benefits on UA codeshares that I'm hoping someone may know the answer to.

1. If I book a paid flight from LAX-YYZ in discount Y, operated by AC but booked as a UA codeshare, as a VA SG, would I be entitled to the UA status benefits (checked baggage allowance, lounge access etc) or the AC status benefits (just lounge access)?
2. In the above scenario, which lounge would I have access to at LAX, the UA lounge or the AC lounge (or both)?

No benefits on a UA*AC flight. You need to book on AC prime.

Thanks for that. So by booking an AC flight as a UA codeshare, I wouldn't get any VA status benefits at all? I'll make sure to book direct with AC then.
