Vistara is a Tata-SIA joint venture full service carrier based in India, and today made it's first flight.
Tata-SIA's Vistara commences operations. Successful inaugural flight. - Bangalore Aviation
Now while I know no one wants to talk about more Jetstar expansions, if SIA and Tata seem set to make full service work in India, why couldn't Jetstar partner with someone and make LCC work, possibly opening a Jetstar 787 route to India to connect to the domestic services? Looks easier than Hong Kong, and while I appreciate Hong Kong is a way to get into the Chinese market, the Indian market must be growing too.
