Which airlines can you redeem Asia Miles to fly with?

Asia Miles can also be redeemed for travel on the following partner airlines:
- Air Canada (selected domestic Canada routes only)
- Air China
- Air New Zealand (Auckland-Hong Kong only)
- Austrian Airlines (limited intra-Europe routes only)
- Bangkok Airways
- Fiji Airways
- Gulf Air
- LATAM Airlines
- Lufthansa (limited intra-Europe routes only)
- Shenzhen Airlines (within China, Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan only)
- Swiss Airlines (limited intra-Europe routes only)
See the Asia Miles website for more information about partner airlines.
How much do award flights cost with Asia Miles?
Awards are priced according to distance-based zones. The price will be based on the sum of the distance of all flights in the itinerary.
For travel on Cathay Pacific flights, you can book a Standard Award or use “Miles Plus Cash” towards any available revenue airfare.
Prices for Standard Awards, which are subject to availability, are published in the award chart on the Asia Miles website.
For some reason, Cathay no longer publishes an award chart for one-way or return flights on partner airlines. We’ve published an unofficial Asia Miles partner airline award chart, but these rates are not guaranteed.
Award routing rules
With Asia Miles one-way and round-trip awards, you can only use a maximum of two flight sectors in each direction. No stopovers are permitted, other than at the turnaround point or a return trip.
When booking a partner airline award, you cannot combine the flights of two airline partners onto the same one-way ticket. You can only have a flight/s on a single partner airline, or one partner airline sector + one Cathay Pacific sector, in each direction.
For more complex multi-city or round-the-world trips, the Asia Miles Oneworld multi-carrier reward could be useful. This award permits up to 5 stopovers and 8 flight sectors, and can be used to fly around the world – although this is not a requirement. This award is particularly excellent value in Business class.
The Cathay Pacific website can be used to book one-way and return award flights on the following airlines:
- Cathay Pacific
- Qantas
- Air China
- Alaska Airlines
- British Airways
- Finnair
- Japan Airlines
- LATAM Airlines
- Malaysia Airlines
- Qatar Airways
- Royal Jordanian
- SriLankan Airlines
To book award flights including travel on any other partner airline, we suggest calling Cathay.
