As the AFF on Air podcast continues its series on international travel in 2022, we turn our attention in this episode to the UK.

In Episode 78, Matt chats to two Australian frequent flyers who recently travelled to London about their experiences.

One of this episode’s guests is Andrew Holland, who flew Qantas Business Class from Sydney to London via Darwin.

The second guest is the AFF member scoobs214, who flew from Australia to the UK with Japan Airlines via Tokyo. Despite a very long overnight layover at Haneda Airport, with no possibility to leave the airport and no transit hotels open, he had a great experience.

Unfortunately, scoobs214 did catch COVID-19 while in London and had to delay his flight home. But he’s now recovering and doesn’t regret the trip at all.
