Qantas Frequent Flyer is giving 30% off Classic Flight Reward seats in Economy on selected international routes until 19 June 2022.
The discount covers Qantas flights on eligible routes for travel dates between 23 July 2022 and 1 June 2023. It also covers various Jetstar flights for travel from 23 July 2022 until 25 March 2023.
The following Qantas routes are eligible for 30% off the points required for a Classic Flight Reward ticket in Economy:
- Brisbane-Noumea
- Sydney-Noumea
- Sydney-Honolulu
- Sydney-Bangkok
- Melbourne-Delhi
- Sydney-Jakarta
And the following Jetstar routes are on special:
- Sydney-Seoul (Incheon)
- Melbourne-Singapore
- Melbourne-Bangkok
- Sydney-Phuket
- Melbourne-Phuket
- Cairns-Denpasar
- Darwin-Denpasar
- Adelaide-Denpasar
- Melbourne-Ho Chi Minh City
- Sydney-Ho Chi Minh City

The discount also applies to any connecting domestic flights. For example, if you book a Qantas Classic Reward ticket from Adelaide to Bangkok via Sydney, you’ll still get the 30% discount on the number of Qantas points required for the whole journey. You’ll still need to pay the taxes & carrier charges in full.
Unfortunately, this discount only covers Classic Flight Reward seats in Economy – not Premium Economy, Business or First Class. That said, you may be lucky enough to get a discount on seats to New Caledonia in Business as well if you book on the Qantas website. 😉
Under Qantas’ current Flexible Classic Rewards policy, you can change or cancel any international Classic Reward booking made by 30 September 2022 until 31 December 2022. (Just be prepared to wait 8+ weeks for a refund of your taxes & carrier charges.)
