Want to use your Qantas points to fly to the USA in comfort? American Airlines currently has lots of Premium Economy reward seats available from both Sydney and Auckland to the USA!

These Premium Economy award seats are available on many travel dates between now and June 2024. You could book a seat using Qantas points, American Airlines AAdvantage miles or through another Oneworld frequent flyer program.

American Airlines flies daily, year-round, from Sydney to Los Angeles as AA72 and the return AA73. It also operates seasonal routes from Auckland to both Los Angeles and Dallas/Fort Worth between late October and March.

We can currently see lots of Premium Economy award availability on all three of these trans-Pacific routes. Some flights even have 7 Premium Economy award seats available. (There’s also plenty of Economy availability, but very little in Business or First Class.)

On the Auckland-Los Angeles route, you can even find Premium Economy award availability in the week before Christmas. (Heck, there’s even a bit of Business Class availability on this route as well!)

There's also been great award availability on AA in J between SYD & a huge number of US cities recently using AA miles, but not QF (ie 60K AA miles).
