Introducing AFF’s “Trip Report of the Month”

AFF trip report of the month

We love reading the wide variety of interesting trip reports written by members of the Australian Frequent Flyer community! We know that many of you do too, as our trip reports forum is one of the most popular on AFF.

Some of our members put a lot of time and effort into writing sensational trip reports which are both informative and entertaining. We want to recognise this and show our appreciation. That’s why we’re introducing “Trip Reports of the Month”.

Each month, the AFF team will choose their favourite trip report written during the past month by an AFF member. That member will receive a special mention in the Frequent Flyer Gazette, our newsletter. They’ll also get a special “Trip Report of the Month” banner on their AFF profile for that month. If you click on this banner, you’ll be taken directly to their trip report!

At the end of the year, we’ll give all AFF members the opportunity to vote for their favourite “Trip Report of the Month” from 2024. The author of the trip report with the most votes will win a complimentary AFF Platinum membership for a year, valued at $195.

Our inaugural “Trip Report of the Month” winner

Congratulations to Justinf, who is our first Trip Report of the Month winner for the month of June 2024! Justinf won this title for their recent trip report, On the road again.

Tips for writing a great trip report

We welcome all contributions to our Trip Reports forum. It could be a write-up about a recent trip you’ve taken, a flight review, or just some photos and tips about a destination. You don’t have to be flying Business or First Class – you could even write about a recent road trip, train journey or cruise.

The best AFF trip reports are entertaining, and include photos and tips that could be helpful to someone planning a similar trip in the future. See our guide to writing a great trip report for more pointers!

Don’t want to write a whole trip report but have a great travel snap you’d like to share with our community? You can also visit our “View from my office” thread.

Will your trip report by our next monthly winner? Good luck and happy writing! 🙂
