You can now convert PayRewards points into Air Canada Aeroplan points, Cathay Asia Miles, Vietnam Airlines Lotusmiles and IHG One Rewards points, as Pay.com.au adds even more transfer partners.
Pay.com.au is one of several Australian bill payment services that let you earn full points on your credit card when paying tax bills and other business expenses. Most Australian banks do not award points on government payments, so paying the ATO through platforms such as pay.com.au lets you earn credit card points for these payments as you would for any other everyday expense.
Uniquely, Pay.com.au also gives you the option to purchase an additional bundle whenever you make a payment which earns PayRewards points.

Why Aeroplan, Cathay & Lotusmiles are useful additions for PayRewards
Aeroplan, Cathay and Lotusmiles are the three of the most recent additions to the PayRewards program.
Aeroplan is a particularly valuable frequent flyer program, even for Australians. You can redeem Aeroplan points to fly with almost 50 partner airlines. Plus, reward flights with Aeroplan are easy to book, cost a reasonable amount of points, and do not attract any fuel or carrier surcharges.
That said, other than buying Aeroplan points directly from Air Canada, or flying with Virgin Australia or Star Alliance airlines, there aren’t that many ways to earn Aeroplan points in Australia. So, it’s great to see a new way to earn Aeroplan points in Australia.
The other main ways to earn Aeroplan points in Australia would be to convert CommBank Awards points or Star Alliance Rewards points, the latter of which you can earn with a HSBC Star Alliance credit card.

Cathay is also a useful frequent flyer program for Australians because it provides access to more premium cabin reward seats on Cathay Pacific flights than other programs. You can often find Cathay Pacific Business Class and Premium Economy award availability on flights from Perth, Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane and Cairns to Hong Kong. Cathay’s redemption costs are also highly competitive.
And while Vietnam Airlines Lotusmiles is perhaps not the most competitive frequent flyer program out there, it is the first SkyTeam partner of PayRewards. As well as Vietnam Airlines flights, Lotusmiles opens up redemption opportunities across the SkyTeam network.
