Singapore’s Changi Airport is home to five excellent Oneworld airline lounges, including a Qantas First Lounge and Qatar Airways Premium Lounge.
When departing from Singapore on a Oneworld airline, eligible frequent flyers, Business and First Class passengers are absolutely spoiled for choice. Eligible Qantas flyers departing on either Qantas or Emirates can even use the Emirates Lounge as well.
Malaysia Airlines and Japan Airlines previously operated their own lounges in Singapore as well, however these closed a while ago.
Of the 13 current Oneworld member airlines, eight fly to Singapore: British Airways, Cathay Pacific, Finnair, Japan Airlines, Malaysia Airlines, Qantas, Qatar Airways and SriLankan Airlines. Fiji Airways, which will join Oneworld in 2025, also serves the airport.
Most of the Oneworld lounges at Changi Airport are in Terminal 1, except for the Cathay Pacific lounge in Terminal 4. Note that Terminals 1, 2 and 3 are connected. If you’re flying out of Terminals 1, 2 or 3, you could even visit multiple lounges before your flight departs and make it a bit of a lounge crawl!
So, which are the best Oneworld lounges in Singapore? In this article, we rank the Oneworld lounges at Changi Airport from best to worst.

Qatar Airways Singapore Premium Lounge
The Qatar Airways Singapore Premium Lounge is a superb option. It’s a luxurious space with comfortable seating, dedicated dining areas and showers.
There’s an extensive a la carte dining and drinks menu with restaurant-quality dishes and a wide range of alcoholic beverages available. The service is very attentive, with a high staff-to-guest ratio, and the bar staff are happy to make cocktails that aren’t listed on the menu.
In many ways, it’s hard to split this with the Qantas First Lounge. But a key benefit of the Qatar Airways Lounge is how quiet it is. It’s a bit harder to get into (more on that below), and therefore a bit more exclusive.
How to access the Qatar Airways Premium Lounge
The Qatar Airways Singapore Premium Lounge is only available to Business and First Class passengers flying with Qatar Airways or a Oneworld airline, excluding Qatar Airways Business Lite fares. If you’re flying Economy or Premium Economy, you unfortunately won’t be able to use this lounge – even with Oneworld Emerald status.
The lounge is located upstairs from Transfer C in Terminal 1. It’s open from 07:45-10:45 and 15:30-02:30 daily.
Qantas First Lounge
The Qantas Singapore First Lounge is also one of the best lounges at Changi Airport. The service and the a la carte dining are exceptional, and the lounge has all the facilities you’d need – short of perhaps a spa.
It’s a bright space with lots of seating, a large dining area, work stations and plenty of showers.
The highlight of the lounge is arguably the food. The menu is packed with flavoursome Singaporean and Australian dishes, designed by Neil Perry in conjunction with the lounge’s Executive Chef Linda Sim. While the menu changes every three months, some favourites remain as permanent fixtures including the salt & pepper squid, prawn wontons and Signature laksa with crayfish.
The service staff are highly trained, enthusiastic and will deliver almost anything you could want with huge smiles. A special shout-out goes to Kamal and Vivian. They’re a delight!
How to access the Qantas Singapore First Lounge
The Qantas First Lounge is open daily from 3.30pm until 11pm, covering all of the Qantas departures to Australia as well as QF1 to London. It’s located on the upper level in Terminal 1, near the Marhaba Lounge.
The following passengers departing on Qantas or another Oneworld airline can enter:
- First Class passengers
- Oneworld Emerald frequent flyers, including Qantas Platinum and Platinum One members
Qantas Platinum & Platinum One frequent flyers departing on a Jetstar or Jetstar Asia flight may also use this lounge. However, note that Jetstar flights depart from Terminal 4 at Changi, which requires a bus transfer to reach.
Qantas Singapore (Business) Lounge
The Qantas Singapore Business Lounge is not quite as good as the First Lounge, but it’s still an excellent international lounge. This is probably the pick of the bunch for Qantas Gold and Oneworld Sapphire frequent flyers, as well as Oneworld Business Class passengers if the Qatar Airways Premium Lounge is closed.
This is a fairly large lounge with showers, a bar and a substantial buffet.
It also has a noodle bar, where you can get dishes made to order. I’m a huge laksa fan, so this is great! The laksa in this lounge doesn’t come with crayfish, but it seems to have a similarly delicious broth to the laksa in the Qantas First Lounge.
How to access the Qantas Singapore Lounge
The following people can access the Qantas Singapore Lounge when departing Singapore on Qantas or a Oneworld airline:
- Qantas & Oneworld Business & First Class passengers
- Qantas Gold, Platinum & Platinum One frequent flyers
- Oneworld Sapphire & Emerald frequent flyers
Qantas Club members and people redeeming Qantas Lounge Invitations can also use this lounge when flying on Qantas or Jetstar.

Air France, KLM and Aircalin Business Class passengers (and eligible Flying Blue members flying these airlines) can also use the Qantas Singapore Lounge.
The lounge is open daily from 1.50pm until midnight. It also opens from 7.40am-10am on Tuesdays ahead of Aircalin’s morning departure to Noumea.
British Airways Lounge
Located near the Qantas Singapore Lounge, the British Airways Singapore Lounge opened in 2015. It’s a pleasant space with a large self-service bar, a solid buffet and extra food & drinks such as pasta and Champagne available to order from the QR codes at each table.
This lounge can get a bit busy between 9-11pm ahead of the two British Airways departures to London. But if you’re flying British Airways Club World from Singapore to Sydney, or on another Oneworld flight leaving earlier in the afternoon or evening, it’s a peaceful oasis.
The Concorde Bar
If you happen to be flying First Class on British Airways, or have Gold Guest List status with British Airways Executive Club, you can also access the exclusive Concorde Bar located within the British Airways Lounge.
How to access the British Airways Singapore Lounge
The British Airways Singapore Lounge opens from 3pm to 11pm daily. You can get in as a Business passenger, or a Oneworld Sapphire or Emerald frequent flyer, travelling on any Oneworld airline.
Cathay Pacific Lounge
In many ways, it’s unfair to rank the Cathay Pacific Lounge last on this list because it’s an extremely competitive offering! But when you’re ranking options in a list, something unfortunately has to be at the bottom.
The Cathay Pacific Lounge is the only Oneworld Lounge in Singapore in Terminal 4, which is in a completely separate building to Terminals 1-3. It’s a very good lounge, and if you’re flying Cathay Pacific, it’s well worth a visit. But given the lengthy bus transfers required to get to and from Terminal 4, it’s probably not worth trying to visit if you’re flying a Oneworld airline other than Cathay Pacific.
This lounge looks and feels like any other Cathay Pacific Lounge. It has lots of comfortable seating and work stations. There’s also a buffet, but the best food is available from the noodle bar. One thing it’s missing, however, is showers.
How to access the Cathay Pacific Lounge
The Cathay Pacific Singapore Lounge is open daily from 7am to 1.25am. You can get in as a Cathay Pacific Business passenger or a Oneworld Sapphire or Emerald frequent flyer travelling on Cathay in any cabin.
