The 2019 Europe early bird sales are now on, and there are some great deals available in Economy and Premium Economy. But if you’re looking for a good Business Class deal to Europe, the current Cathay Pacific Business sale is not bad either.
Cathay Pacific Business Class flights from Australia to Europe are now available for under $5,000 return. From Perth, you can fly to Zurich, Dublin, Amsterdam or Frankfurt for $4,972 return in Business. Good prices are also available to other Cathay Pacific destinations including Brussels, Rome, Manchester, Madrid and London.
Return flights from Adelaide to many European destinations are also available for under $5,000. Flights from Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane and Cairns are also on sale, with fares just over $5,000 return. Here’s an example of a fare we found:
You may be able to bring the price down a little further by booking via an online travel agent.
It is possible to add a free stopover in Hong Kong in both directions. It’s also possible to book an open-jaw ticket, where you fly into one European city and return from somewhere else. Note that a $63 surcharge applies if you fly between Australia and Hong Kong on a Friday, Saturday or Sunday.
Many dates are available for travel between 1 March and 30 November 2019. This Cathay Pacific Business sale ends on 31 October 2018.
For a Cathay Pacific Business fare from Australia to Europe, this is about as cheap as it gets. It’s also not that much more expensive than Cathay Pacific Premium Economy. It could be worth the difference to upgrade to a lie-flat bed for the entire trip! As a Business class passenger, you’ll also have access to many of the excellent Oneworld airport lounges in Hong Kong.
As an added bonus, you can earn Qantas Frequent Flyer points and status credits for these flights. For example, you’d earn 25,600 Qantas points and 440 status credits for the itinerary pictured above.
