Based in Taipei, China Airlines is a SkyTeam alliance member and a Qantas Frequent Flyer partner.
The airline flies from Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane to Taipei, as well as a fifth-freedom route from Brisbane to Auckland. From Taipei, you can fly onwards with China Airlines to destinations across Asia, Europe and North America.

Boeing 737-800 Business Class seats
China Airlines offers two rows of reclining cloth-covered Business Class seats on its Boeing 737-800s, which are used for short-haul flights. These seats have a fairly standard 37 inches of pitch. In-flight entertainment is available to stream to your own device and there is no Wi-Fi offered on this aircraft type.
Airbus A321neo Business Class seats
China Airlines offers three rows of lie-flat Business Class seats in a 2-2 layout on its new Airbus A321neo fleet! This is a great product for a narrow-body aircraft.
Each seat has a TV screen with on-demand entertainment and Wi-Fi is available on this aircraft. China Airlines generally uses the A321neo for regional and medium-haul flights, including from Taipei to Singapore.
Airbus A330-300 Business Class
China Airlines has two A330-300 configurations.
The aircraft used for short-haul flights have 36 recliner seats in a 2-2-2 configuration.
The long-haul configuration has 30 seats which recline to become angle-flat beds, also in a 2-2-2 configuration. There are personal seat-back entertainment screens, but no Wi-Fi.
Airbus A350-900 Business Class seats
China Airlines predominantly uses Airbus A350s on its flights between Australia, New Zealand and Taipei. These aircraft are fitted with modern, lie-flat Business Class seats in a 1-2-1 reverse herringbone layout. This means every passenger gets direct aisle access.
All seats have a personal in-flight entertainment screen and Wi-Fi is available.

Boeing 777-300 Business Class seats
China Airlines offers a similar Business Class product on its Boeing 777s to its Airbus A350s. The lie-flat seats are also laid out in a 1-2-1 configuration. Wi-Fi is also available on this aircraft.
