It is now possible for Australian Frequent Flyer readers to comment on selected AFF articles featured on our home page, our Facebook page and in the Frequent Flyer Gazette!
Many AFF articles are directly linked to threads on our forum. Where this is the case, you will still find a link to the relevant thread at the bottom of the article and we will not open the article for comments. Instead, you are more than welcome to click through to the AFF thread if you wish to comment on or discuss the topic at hand.
Some of our articles, such as our reviews and selected guides and news articles, do not link to any thread on our forums. We are therefore adding a comments section to these articles so that our readers can have their say. For example, in today’s Frequent Flyer Gazette there are three articles we have opened for comments:
- Economy Downgrade Inadequate, Court Rules
- Qantas 747 Business Class Review (QF28 Santiago-Sydney)
- Request Your Qantas Points Upgrades Before 18 September 2019
On articles where comments are open, you’ll find a comments section at the bottom of the article:
To leave a comment, you’ll need to enter your name and email address. (Your email address will not be displayed publicly). Please note that you’ll need to fill in this information, even if you’re already an AFF member as our articles are separate to the AFF forum pages. You may choose to enter your AFF handle in the “name” field instead of your real name, if you wish.
Comments will need to be approved by a staff member (to prevent spam), so will not appear immediately. You will be notified by email once your comment has been approved. Note that the AFF Terms of Service apply to comments on articles, and we reserve the right to delete posts that breach these guidelines.
We hope you find this new feature useful! If you have any feedback, feel free to comment on this article. 😉
