Intercity Flights

Having discussed options with a few people, it would seem that there is a reasonable amount of interest in a flight from Essendon Airport to Hobart International rolleyes Airport -- why not turn it in to a DO? Here's what I'd like to propose:
I'm also tempted to propose that we all dress for the occasion, as flying in ones' "Sunday Finest" was the done thing in the 1950's and 1960's!
Things to work out:
Let me know if I've missed anything .. if you're interested in attending, please respond!
Am also happy to arrange lunch and dinner reservations closer to the date, so will also be interested in any preferred dining establishments and/or any dietary requirements/prejudices.

Having discussed options with a few people, it would seem that there is a reasonable amount of interest in a flight from Essendon Airport to Hobart International rolleyes Airport -- why not turn it in to a DO? Here's what I'd like to propose:
- Arrange permission with work/SWMBO to take the Thursday off
- If interstate, arrange for a flight that arrives in to MEL that morning
- Group lunch somewhere? in the city
- Some mode of transport from the CBD to MEB
- Fly in style from MEB down to HBA
- Early dinner somewhere nice? in the city
- Back out to the airport for a flight back to the mainland (JQ/DJ both have reasonably timed options)
- Alternatively, stay the weekend and explore Hobart
I'm also tempted to propose that we all dress for the occasion, as flying in ones' "Sunday Finest" was the done thing in the 1950's and 1960's!
Things to work out:
- When would payment for the flight MEB-HBA be required?
- Where to have lunch?
- Where to have dinner?
