I thought I would post a short review/photos of this lounge that we encountered earlier this month. The Emirates lounge certainly appears pretty new & reasonably spacious but I was not overly impressed. Quite a few tables left uncleaned, no hot food to be seen, plastic knives & forks (some already broken while still in the plastic packet), JW red as the choice of scotch and small bottles of red label Peroni hidden in a corner drawer as the only beer option! The toilet facilities were excellent but when I asked about using the shower facilities I had spotted, I was advised there was a charge of 17 odd Euro!-maybe to do with us flying on Thai but I did not ask. After a while we ended up being being the only ones in the lounge-rather eerie feeling actually.
