The one I've used in the past has jacked up prices. I've searched the forums but can't find any recommendations.

Do you mean a limo in terms of a stretched limo or just a private car transfer such as a Statesman or whatever those cars are called that no normal person buys anymore ?

My Driver as a Merc ML350.. A few people here have used him in the past.. I've used him for 17 years now. Let me know if you want his details.

Yes please. I've had 2 quotes @ $70 inclusive of tolls & parking which I think is good.

That is about the price.

I had to organise app 30 people from Tulla to CBD and it was all around $70 each way.

We have used Bill in Melbourne 0419 852349
Chris in Sydney 0412 818515
Both are totally reliable. They meet you at the luggage carousel or where you arrange.
Have used each for several years to avoid Mr Toads Wild Ride in a taxi.

My Drivers name is Nick and his number is 0412 931 924. Used him for 17 years now.. He'll meet you in the baggage area (most common place).

p.s. all tolls are included too.

Colin Chin 0432 686 484
Runs a black Caprice, about $70 domestic > Docklands
Has Foo Fighters live DVD playing for me when I lob (I see that as a positive folks)
He is always waiting when I arrive, unlike some who are still to get there.

I use Alam - 0433 226 603

Good and reliable - reasonable prices (I don't go direct to the CBD so not sure of the CBD price). Often hands off to other drivers who are generally equally good.

I have a guy in BNE that I use all the time if anyone needs a contact in BNE. Black Statesman, brand new, reliable, friendly & has a couple of back up drivers he can go to if he is busy or booked. His back up drivers are cut from the same cloth.

Use him regularly and he will organise a fixed price. I have fixed prices to airport and other destinations.

Lol at using regular cabs ever again (in BNE)

What does he charge?

I go from BNE just over the Gateway bridge to Morningside sometimes and get stung up to 50 bucks by the cabs, usually around 44 though.

What were the old and new prices?
$70 each way from airport to CBD is pretty reasonable, because pending traffic a normal cab would cost you ~$55.
My driver has a Statesman (non Caprice) and is on time, reasonably priced and sends another driver if there is any chance he may be late due to traffic. Sounds like you've got it covered though.

Yes I will be calling all the Melb based ones listed to get price Parkdale (Mentone) to MEL next Thursday morn.

Would you guys like me to list quoted fares?
