Tapped in her PNR.... $547 each way?! No thanks, not for a 5 hour daytime flight... Now, if they offered PJs in J I might reconsider
Just checked for my forthcoming flights on MAS and for SYD-KUL the upgrade would be $530 and for KUL-CGK would be $92. Probably more than I'd be looking to spend, but more reasonable than the previously quoted price from Perth.
Do you know what sort of Y ticket you were upgrading off.
I did a dummy booking on the MAS website but when I read the terms and conditions it said that the ticket was not upgradeable. I don't know if this includes optiontown upgrdes as well.
It appears that the Optiontown option with MH seems to have ended.
Reports coming in that upgrades are not possible,
prob due to impending entry into OW.
But AirCanada now on the OT site...
Has anybody tried the Optiontown upgrade on MAS and been successful?
The whole thing sounds like a bit of a scam to me (how could it not be?) and I would have severe doubts that a quality star alliance carrier such as Air Canada would have anything to do with this scheme.

Has there been anything official released to confirm the departure of MH from Optiontown? Not a scam.
Used it successfully many times for MH.
Great ride while it lasted.

The website is extremely slow today, however last time I checked there was still reference to MH on there. I would be spewing if the partnership were to end...
AFF Supporters can remove this and all advertisements

That's funny I saw reference to MH upgrade prices on the uto pages today?
