Hello!

I'm on QF DOM DSC promo till end of the year.

I have 3 weeks leave from the time AFF Christmas party is, and I thought about doing a SC run in the US (I've never done one) and I have lots of time, so might as well have a holiday, have some fun and do a SC run at the same time.

Thinking of flying out 24 Dec from SYD or MEL (from AFF party? ;) Need to be back by 14th Jan for work.

Currently reading some of the other threads (skyline's), and learning more about what's on around this time of the year.

I'm going from NB QP, and I want to reach WP and maintain it starting from now. It's been too long of non flying :) I don't even want to count how many SC's that is, but yes, it's a lot ;)

Any suggestions during this time would be appreciated!

:)

LAS-ORD-MIA-SJU is a popular run, and I know jezzar8 booked this in August for $700 return, but when I search for dates in Jan I can only get $600 one-way. Not sure why the price rise is so steep, although in my case I only want it one way, since after I'd be making my way to NYC but still wish it would be cheaper!

It's a busy time - however, over Christmas, it's a good idea to either avoid CHI and/or NYC, or at least have 3h+ layovers if possible.

Try researching using ITA and the "See calendar of lowest fares" - it seems that aside from Jan 1, there are few of the 'really' discounted fares before Jan 13.
