Based on my various offers it is to do with your past spend history. The bigger your normal spend, the higher the ualifying spend target.

PS: I have no status on any of my family accounts as we rarely actually buy flights. Normally only redeem, or use Amex free flights etc.

I'm bronze and I got earn 1850, receive 1500.

Quite a few people who will receive 1500 here, but with different earn requirements. My thinking is it has something to do with how much you have used the bonus partner program.

Got earn 1700 get 1500, have yet to pull the trigger on my EDR 1000 point coupon

Earn 1200, receive 1000.

Never used the QF mall so probably the reason for the low target.

Mine was earn 3150 , receive 1500 !!!

Mr Jojen was earn 2800 , receive 1500.

Doubt either of us will receive the bonus from Qantas !!!!

Mrs 2905, whose only earn category so far has been flights: 150 for 500.

Me, having coughd myself out in all but a couple of categories: No e-mail at all. EDIT: Just got the e-mail: Earn 2050 for 1500 bonus. I'll probably pass.

With my help (she knows nothing about this points game), I think Mrs 2905 will be buying $75 worth of Myer digital gift cards. (They won't go to waste; we spent about three times that much at Myer recently, without even trying. :shock: )

I didn't receive it but Mr AirKat has the earn 150, bonus 500 offer. At that level it will be easy given you can buy gift cards and earn 2 points per $1 spent
