We all know the website is problematic, along with the the Le places app. However since the last 'AccorHotels' app update the default currency is EUR. Whenever I select AUD, the prices changes accordingly. Then I click on my preference and the price defaults back to EUR.

Is anyone else experiencing the same or other bugs?

Yes. I actually wanted to make a booking using it, and got so annoyed (I couldn't see how to choose AUD) I went the masochistic route and called Accor for some help. Well, you can guess the result; long wait, passed around, no solution.

Happily, i'm going to ditch Accor if they don't keep me at Plat once the deal with AMEX runs out (I'm gold off my own bat), so hopefully it wont be a problem for much more!

BTW how do you change to AUD - I couldn't see it in Preferences.

Thanks. Did that - and like your experience, it reverts to EUR on selection.

Useless.

It also shows some hotels as sold out, even though they are available online via the Accor website. It's pretty terrible and I reckon worse than useless- it causes them to actually lose money!

Have the same currency issue - on the iPhone app, while the iPad app is fine.

After getting no-where the other day with AccorPlus, still feeling that I needed punishing, I called Accor about the application Euro currency issue (and the fact that they have a non connectable phone number on their web site!) Details taken - I explained that it was a Accor Hotels application and issue, not AccorPlus. Details taken, some-one will get back to me.

Got an e-mail the next day, saying that the issue had been flagged to AccorPlus (so far, so Accor ...). I replied repeating that its an Accor Hotels issue .. not Accor plus.

Amazingly, I got an e-mail this morning for a IT gut, thanking me profusely for taking the time to point out the issues ... and he said that the currency thing was corrected in the Application update that was out today (I think they were already onto it ...).

And sure enough, yes the issue is fixed. :)

Very un-Accor.

Well for sure it's not fixed on my computer unfortunately but at least I alternate between Euros and GB pounds for excitement

Yeah it always reverts to GBP for me on the website.

Bug I have with the app is not showing bookings, so I mistakenly thought I'd cancelled an unneeded booking...until the hotel called. Fortunately my "but I cancelled it months ago!" exclamation saved me from any cancellation fees.

yes, last update has rendered it useless.

wait i guess but annoying in that i use it to make 99% of my bookings.

No issues here - iPhone 6 running iOS 9.3.3 - did you try deleting the app from your phone and re-installing it?

Running an apple 6 up to date. Reinstalled etc. This cloud business is not to be trusted. Regularly wipes my contacts to populate an old list. Mind you I've confronted the people I deleted and we've settled our differences. But can you not trust the cloud to store data.

It looks like the app is defaulting to EUR currency once again at the booking stage *facepalm*

Yes it's painful - local currency is displayed correctly during hotel selection process but as soon as you drill down to room selection it defaults back to EUR
