Last day in Belgrade. Walked through local market, over the Sava river past the Splavs/floating bars and a Holocaust memorial then back via Orthodox Cathedral. Now around 6pm and a thunderstorm is trying to make it's presence felt

Made the move out of Belgrade this morning-very quiet airport at the time we were there. Flew to Basel and now in Lorrach Germany-spargel territory

Nice photos. Belgrade certainly looks a lot better than when we visited - admittedly that was in 1976 when Tito was alive and Yugoslavia still existed. .

I think I can certainly say it is now a nicer place! Very modern, very positive vibe about things but also plenty of monuments as reminders of past events. Don't think I have ever seen as many food outlets/bars in a city
