Same view from Ponsonby Manor House towards downtown Auckland, still a bit of rain. The owner of where we ate said it has rained for 32 days straight, it's breaking all sorts of records.

It’s pretty hot and effin humid in Mumbai. After checking out India Gate and the famous Taj Mahal Palace hotel, I made a beeline back for some nourishment. This is a cracker beer going down very nicely right now .

Here in God-Almaty, we have a very nice Georgian Saperavi with thecherry gazpacho followed by local dumplings to just die for.

Boulogne East Commonwealth War Graves - a visit to the grave of my Great Uncle. A corporal in the 35th Bn AIF, he was wounded East of Boulogne on 17 February 1917, and passed down the line from field hospital to general hospital, but died of his wounds a week later.

A change of office but back in Wolverhampton. This time my joy is The Ramada Park Hall.....and it seems you just need to whack a skylight into a restaurant and suddenly it is an orangery.
