The Daimler car club had a meet at Bright, beautiful cars to say the least. These were taken between Bright and Mount Beauty.



Needless to say, I want one!

iPhone? iPhone pics used to post sideways, and needed a tiny bit of cropping to make them post correctly. That problem went away for me ... somehow ... so,me time ago; maybe new phone, maybe iOS update , but it returned only last weekend.

Ahh, thanks for that, it's an ipad, so that will be the issue and it had an "upgrade" recently, plus I'lm not completely at ease with it as yet,

Ahh, the Tawonga Gap. Head to the other end of the carpark and there is a track running along the range - except probably best not driven in a Daimler!

Solution is to go into 'edit' of the sideways photo and just crop a tiny bit off the bottom and side. Then it seems to post right-way-up.

Solution is to go into 'edit' of the sideways photo and just crop a tiny bit off the bottom and side. Then it seems to post right-way-up.

Or just go to 'edit' and there is now a rotation icon on the right.

Not a hope. There is no trailer for the extra fuel tank!

According to the Army spec's on road. 3.2 km's per Ltr that's a big 9 MPH or 1.7 km;s per Ltr (5 MPH) off road.
A 95 Lt tank get you 305 km's on road or 100km's off road

The big sedan look like a Majestic Major V8? I always thought that it would be the perfect European "Grand Tourer" - especially for a Paris to Monaco run

I rather like the conference facility roof at the Hilton Metropole, NEC Birmingham, it is rather splendid, but not up there with some of the US HI car parks. #sigh# The dream continues.
