That’s because we’re looking at the western side - they’d be looking directly into the sun. The vast majority of people are in an arc 45 degrees to my left, overheard and 45 degrees to my right, on both the ground and the stands

No car park today and I did not even get a room with a view of the railway lines. Sadly I have a bit of a paved walking area with art work of some kind to gaze at from my office at the HI Express in Munich.
