Has one (sms) from Centrelink (!!!) and I am not even on benefits, none of any type, saying I am to be paid $705.83.something, and my next reporting date is such and such.
(((Centrelink Reporting Information: Date to be paid 24/03/2025 Amount $705.83 Next reporting due 04/04. Rereipt no. xx_xx_))).
It did not have a link to it, so am not sure what the aim of it is.
Ie, there is no website to psish to, ...
Maybe their aim is to scare people.
Looks like the short code trick, maybe they are showing how smart they are/are they to onsend sms which have "supposedly" come from Centrelink.

Just found this in my gmail spam;

This is the second one of these my wife has got in the last few days :-

The top of the e-mail claimed that the message was sent by "Docusign" included a link to click on to review the document - not copied here. But the rest of the message is supposedly from PayPal.

I am still getting fake mail from Centrelink and MyGov every few days asking me to click on a link.

Both of us have been getting Docusign spam all about our Pay Pal accounts. Mine are easy as I don't have a pay pal account.
The wording is virtually the same as in the previous post by @Major .

I have received several Docusign emails all related to my non-existent PayPal account. The first impression is they might be genuine (from previous experience) but there are several features that give them away - particularly when you do not use PayPal.

I just received this email today 18th April 2025 did not know if scam or real

On Youtube, I am being interrupted by scam laser welder ad's with three settings. You appear to see a hand laser welder doing what an expensive laser TIG can do. THEN after catching you attention, a bait and switch for a different product (a soldering iron) for $43 odd, when aliexpress is around the $19 mark. They further confuse it by using the word 'welding' . Shocking. ACCC should act. Also miracle 8 inch square evaporation swamp coolers and now 7 inch or so round fan heaters that plug into a socket with some physics breaking claims, like more energy efficient. I have read good luck on getting your money back on returns.

Aliexpress tracking numbers that end with somethingTW are prone NOT to arrive. So be aggressive in the confusing refund process. In a bizzare case (another) the package was delivered to QLD not ACT, and no the suburb name was not the same. aggressive refund chase up was 45 cents short - presume this was the dispute agents fee.

Are these TW packages delivered (well ment to be) by freight companies rather than post office?

another delivery scam ... but somewhat confused which language / country
Interesting the links for following up the package and the "unsubscribe" (why would this be an option for a legitimate delivery service ?) are the same.
