Probably remove the word Point and get some of our Moderators interested. I am missing Serfty on September 3rd in Sydney for food and drinks....I always appreciate his knowledge which is super helpful.

For some reason I read the thread title as Frequent Flyer Pilot School, and was wondering who would be the chief pilot, Straitman of course!

If this is what I think it is, i'm in mixed minds about it.

The good:

Allows those uninitiated with FF programs to learn how to maximise points.

The bad:

Allows said FF programs to tighten loopholes if they're mentioned too vocally (there's been a lot of good earners that have vanished due to becoming too public, do don't mention the b*s nor the Amex foul-up).

Certainly a good idea educating noobs on FF programs and their in's and outs, but i'm with straitman on this... That's what AFF is for as a whole. Perhaps some links to FAQ's as they become obvious?

where would we meet for class? Bar? Lounge?

Let me put this away in the thought bubble area. Certainly we dont want to lose things that work really well so I think the dinners and drinks work.

*Plus* There are many free loaders who visit this site with no intention of returning the favour*

(I guess that's just how society works, everyone wants a free lunch....)

Yes Tony that would be Dom Perignon or Krug if we did the SQ First run to LHR on the 777.
That would keep the crowd down to 8.

Umm, don't you need to go to school first. I thought the SQ first run was the graduation ceremony

oz_mark we need inspiration rather than perspiration so let's do dinner and let the alcohol do all the work!
