It seems to me that a few questions go round and round with some very strong opposing views on some subjects. As we are lucky enough to have a direct link to Qantas through Red Roo, as a consumer of their product, I would ask Red Red to provide an official response to some questions. I don't think it is too much to ask these questions as a paying customer as I think it is fair to know what I actually get for my money.
1. If I pay for a J seat (except for special circumstances) is/are the toilet/s in the J area reserved for J customers. If not, what is the curtain for?
2. If I pay for a J seat can I expect that the overhead locker above my seat to be available for the use of the pax under my locker, no matter what time I board?
3. Does the space that my seat reclines into belong to me? I.e. can I expect to be able to fully recline without the person behind me deliberately sticking their knees into the back of my seat and/or deliberately rocking it?
i know that many people will have strong views about these issues, but I am seeking an official response to once and for all put them to bed.
i want to know what I am paying for.
