Problems getting Diamond status (via VA WP) to stick?

Anyone else had any problems getting their complementary HHonors Diamond status (via VA WP) to stick? I received an e-mail from HHonors in mid-March, congratulating me on my new Diamond status, but my online HHonors account stubbornly refused to budge from Gold. I e-mailed a request to them yesterday (attaching the original message from Hilton Honors), and requested that they update my account. Sadly, the CSR doesn't seem to have bothered to read any of the message in detail as their reply is basically an apology that I'm not eligible for Diamond because they've checked my account and I didn't meet the criteria for number of stays or number of nights!?

I've replied to clarify the situation, so hopefully it'll get sorted at the 2nd attempt

Yeah I've had the same experience and still trying. Called VA once, HHonors 4 times and emailed twice with no luck. Been waiting since Feb.28

As per another thread, the benefit has been enhanced, basically to remove the six month limitation.
