I am posting this review as part of my trip report which is here http://www.australianfrequentflyer....tos/parts-portugal-spain-then-fasa-61547.html
Our home for the next 3 nights is located in the Albaicin area. It is an older style house but very neat & tidy & has what we need. It is a full house- described as 2 bedroom (1 tiny one with bunk beds) a very soft bed, air conditioning, wifi, cable tv (some French Open tennis), fridge, microwave, cooking hobs etc. The seller for us is the private patio/garden complete with very comfortable outdoor furniture-here we are in complete privacy with great views of the Alhambra. As suggested by our hosts we caught a taxi from the bus station (8Euro) to the square just below the steps up to the house. We are met at the square & directed up. Because of the stairs & nature of the land this place is not suitable for anyone with mobility problems. After living here, I find that with my larger build the bathroom is a bit of a squeeze but that is the compromise for a great location, privacy, space & fantastic views. The walk to the Cathedral & the newer part of the city is only around 15 minutes.
Photos below give a look at the interior of the house & the last photo is a view of the neighbourhood & Alhambra taken from the outside drinks area
