I am reviewing this apartment as part of my trip report that is here http://www.australianfrequentflyer....otos/bavaria-lake-como-madrid-nthn-69138.html

We booked this apartment through House Trip. Miguel our host was very helpful in answering queries prior to our stay and was waiting when we arrived. This is a great apartment where you live amongst the locals doing their own thing. Straight across the road there is pickup basketball each night, table tennis and the adjoining park is a meeting point for 100’s of dogs and their owners each night-all quiet and well socialised. We have 3 small balconies that give us excellent light and great people watching. The modernised building has a lift, great soundproofing, full shutters and plenty of space at around 50sq m. With Madrid having temps around 10 degrees higher than average the air con is welcome. There is a great bed (extra sofa bed available) huge fridge/freezer, great shower and towels, washing machine, fast, reliable Wi-Fi and a very generous supply of starting goodies-chocolates, bread, coffee, cakes, milk, plenty of condiments, shampoos, body wash etc. The kitchen cooking gear is extensive. Once we got our bearings we found the location to be fantastic-easy walk to the major sites, plenty of bars & food options, 5 minutes to supermarkets and an easy walk back to Atocha when we left

Thanks for the review - it's always good to read about apartments as we like to stay in them if we are going to be in a place for a while.

We really enjoyed this apartment. I have never travelled for work so I have no history or ties with a hotel chain. We enjoy the space & options apartments give us-obviously many on here have different preferences & have built up status over time
