Now for a place a little of the usual path for Australians. We picked this hotel because we wanted to see Tugela Falls-our granddaughter is Tugela. Now to get up close it is either a 3.5 hour hike to the top of the Falls or a 7 hour hike to the bottom.Neither was suitable for my limited ability. So we picked here because there is a helicopter based here.Unfortunately you cant fly close to the Falls as it is a World Heritage area. But we did see them in the distance.

We could not book directly but as usual our TA came to the rescue and got us a room that was unavailable on line.We were in newer rooms to the back of the hotel. They appear larger than those towards the front but the payoff is that your view is partly obstructed by the rooms in front.
So to the pics-

I will give more detail of food etc in my TR.However we really enjoyed this place.Really something for everyone and the March weather is delightful. For those who are active there are a variety of hikes. There is an attractive golf course, mini golf, quad bikes, fly fishing, horse riding and of course the helicopter flights. It is also a great place just to relax.
Internet is free though it did drop out for 12-18 hours during our stay.Laundry is really cheap with the most expensive item trousers at 20 Zar($2.50).
I can reccomend a stay here.
