Our place of rest for the next 2 nights. We wanted to spend 2 nights in the Lakes District on our UK trip.Trip Advisor wasn't of great help. However looking through the Michelin guide we found the restaurant at this hotel received a Michelin star last year so decided to book. Not cheap-we are on a dinner, bed and breakfast rate of 280GBP a night. At this stage we think it well and truly worth it.
First our room-

We are in the Tynan or Blue room.Comes with 2 bottles of sparkling and 2 bottles of still water refreshed at turndown,2 packets kettle chips, fruit bowl and free wifi. But what it really comes with that is special is the view-

We have just come back from dinner and it was very good. They say no phones or cameras in the restaurant so no pics.A shame because the presentation is truly beautiful.also a wonderful French waitress from the Loire valley.Knew all the dishes and the wines.Friendly and very efficient. One of the best we have experienced. So certainly a recommendation from us.
