Apparently a recent addition to the Habarana offerings, this guesthouse has only a few rooms. Neat & tidy & cheap at $30 a night PLUS meals. The setting is actually great, off the road & fronting a garden of fruit trees & palms it is very peaceful. The rooms have hot water, an “asian” hard bed and a good verandah to enjoy a quiet sit, read & drink. However drainage of the shower is poor & our driver is less than impressed with the organisation of his accommodation-apparently actually the cook’s quarters. The meals (curries, noodles etc) are tasty & served by smiling, friendly staff. The beers on the 1st night are fine and our wine is stored in their fridge, but the 2nd night is a "dry night"-Poya full moon where the sale of alcohol is forbidden.
