We opted for this newish, small 7 room hotel based on good internet reviews. We ended up in a standard room that was comfortable enough. The bed seemed about queen size & firm and short, there was a small desk area, a couple of chairs for the small shared balcony & the separate bathroom had its own hot water supply. No TV but it wasn’t missed & the free wifi signal did not get as far as the room but was good around the reception area. There is a rooftop available for sitting & enjoying the district views. The rooftop also hosts the kitchen with outdoor seating or an enclosed room-the strong wind (from about 8pm to 9am every day) meant we ate dinner inside. The food was a highlight. Our late lunch was off the all-day breakfast menu & at night we opted to share Indian dishes-they do have eggs here but the whole town is alcohol free. It surely is a small world when our driver recognised the hotel owner from when the owner used to work at the front desk of a hotel in Rajasthan.
Rooftop area-great during the day but windy at night
Rooftop view of privately owned apartments that overlook the Ganges
Very comfortable room
One of those bathrooms where everything gets wet
View from our shared balcony
