Booked online, the night cost us $40 Aust odd-(included air con, bath towel, soap etc) so expectations need to be realistic. The room was very small & basic but the shower worked fine & the bed was reasonable. Sound proofing from the road traffic was very ordinary & I certainly heard a flight go out. Also with a hotel having so many comings & goings it would make sense to have doors that close more quietly than the current arrangements. There is a very cheap shuttle every 15 minutes- the much touted security was sound asleep as we passed out the gate in the morning! You certainly could walk the estimated 7 minutes and most is under covered walkway. There is a 7-11 store on site to buy water. Our timings meant we did not use the bar.
I have since read more about the nearby (certainly further away) Jawadene B & B and perhaps it would be a better alternative depending on arrival & departure times
