For my 10,000th post I thought I should finally introduce myself!

When I joined AFF in April 2009 there wasn't an introductions area. I might've already done this, but the search function only allows me to see 19 pages (25 posts per page) of recent posts, and by my reckoning I need to look at the 400th page.

Over my time as a member of this site I've been to a few AFF events, attended some FT events and even hosted a couple. I've made and lost friends, but generally felt a part of a great community, and want to continue to be a part of it! Until you've attended an event and met the great members around the country, and world, you've barely scratched the surface on what the community can do for you. And perhaps more importantly, what you can do for it.

So without further ado, my name is Sam, I'm based on the Gold Coast and I'm really keen on Qantas. I fly them everywhere I go, when given the choice. This year I hope to complete their QFLink route network for Queensland, when I fly to WEI (Weipa), HID (Horn Island) and HTI (Hamilton Island) in June.

All the flying I do is for leisure, so I guess I'm an SFSC (Self Funded Status Chaser), though when I get a job I hope there's some travel involved, and I'll be fine with Y, or Starter Plus.

I hope to bump into you in a lounge, even guesting you in, or at an event, or on the street!
