Retro drinks night is back to where it all started on AFF with Mal and I in 2008. Lost count of the number of times we've solved the world's problems.

I'll be getting into BNE at 17:55 from AKL - by the time I get from the airport to the Sofitel, check in etc, I'll be there a little later but would love to have a calming ale and a chat before (all of us) need to get up early for our 7:50am departure to LRE...

The backpacker pub near Roma St Station has trivia on Thursdays but that can get noisy and I have lots of difficulty understanding Irish/Scottish accents.

General description for tomorrow would be on the old side, glasses, overweight (Ha!), wearing black jacket and pants looking out of place. If weather is nice we'll more than likely sit outside. I'll let the bar staff know so if you ask for JohnK they'll point you in right direction.
