Brisbane drinks night Thursday 26 May 2011 at 5:30pm

It was decided in the previous Brisbane drinks thread the next Brisbane drinks night will be on Thursday, 26th May 2011 at ~5:30pm. We will have some special guests of honour attending on their way to Ozfest in Darwin. I hope I have the names right!

The venue is The Mill Hotel Bar & Restaurant. It is located on Wickham Terrace, on the corner of Bartley St, next to Brisbane Private Hospital, opposite the old Tower Mill and ~100 metres from Jacobs Ladder.

Forgot to update the OP but I am led to believe Tom911 will already be in Darwin that day, RestlessinRNO should be at drinks but not certain if JohnSydney2000 will attend as he is a very busy man.

BTW samh004, if you flying via the flounge, which flight are you taking upto BNE?
I'm looking at flying up for the evening (got some points spare) and one of the options is on QF19...

I will indeed be on QF19, however as I am not a Platinum I am hoping someone else may help me into the F Lounge, otherwise I’ll be in the standard J Lounge.

Not WP here either so looks like J lounge, yeah looking at QF19 for myself... (also coming back via SYD the next morning on QF8, can't pass up an opportunity to fly on a B747, even if it's only a short flight)

At least you now have someone to chat to in the J lounge, if you can't access the F lounge.

Let's see. You are not from interstate (unless FNQ counts as interstate, personally I think it should be interstate) or overseas but what the heck I am sure we can organise a special drinks night for an ex-semi-regular.
