Calling London-based AFFers!

I will be in London next month and would be keen to meet some other members while I'm there. I have already been in discussions with one AFFer and was wondering if anyone would be interested in joining us for an AFF dinner?

21 January in the evening would work well for me, but 20 January is also possible.

I would be happy for a local to chose a location. :)

Hi guys, I'm only a new member, but I might be free if you have an extra space? I work in Wimbledon and finish around 5pm but can meet anywhere really.

You would be welcome to come along. I'll keep this thread updated once we have worked out a time and place.

I'm out unfortunately. Will be in China.

Usually up for dinners or catch-ups in London though.

That would be okay with me. What about the others?

Just make sure you bring a jacket... winter has finally arrived! Am looking forward to hockey tomorrow but also kind of not, as it may snow where I'm playing. Fun times!

I am OK with either 20th or 21st.

Does anyone have a preference for a location. The previous meets I have been to were in the City. Maybe Flashback can suggest a place. If leaving it to me, it will be in Canary Wharf (on the Jubilee Line) as it is closer to home!

I work near London Bridge, which is also on the Jubilee line so somewhere around there could be a good option?

I forgot when I first saw this thread that I am heading to Iceland on the 21st, so if it gets changed to the 20th I might be able to make it.

Any time after 5.30 is good for me - so whatever suits everyone else.

Any time is okay for me, but as I am flying in from SIN on Tuesday and will probably be a little jet lagged, an earlier time (6pm?) would be preferable.

6pm sounds good. Let's go with Strada for now and then in the mean time I'll have a poke around the area after work to see if there is any nice English pubs around instead.

Hey Flashpants - Drag Tulips along to one of these...
